NME Double Page Spread

The white backgrond to this double page spread in my opinion is very effective in assisting the main features stand out to the public eye. If the brightly coloured picture and large font sized writing was not there then i feel as though it would result in the background being fairly plain and boring. Thus making readers less interested in the article.
The two pages on contains a single picture, and therefore the rest of the pages are dedicated to text and empty spaces.
The title is in a very odd presented form as it is in white, bold and big text that is contained in seperate black sqaures. I feel this is good because it is different and unique which would attract a reader. The text and picture are both colour co-ordinated well as in the picture the three colours used are; red, black and white. These three colours are repeated throughout text and title. The red in the text is rare but is used to show importance, in this text for example the red is used to highlight the writers name for advertisement reasons. I feel that how they have co-ordinated the colours is clever as then the important features stand out as the colours are very outstanding against each other.
The magazine also gives a whole page to the picture so therefore it is attractive when flicking through pages, etc. This is a good idea as the picture is big and outstanding. The picture is also well suited to fit the article therefore when the readers sees the picture they will understand what the text contains.
